THE 2007 CAPE DORSET GRAPHICS COLLECTION
OPENING FRIDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2007

 

The 2007 Cape Dorset Graphics Collection will go on sale at Burdick Gallery on Friday, October 13 at 8 pm. The prints may be previewed at the gallery from October 13.

Dorset Fine Arts, the distributor of the collection, strictly forbids the sale of any print before October 19.  At 7 PM that evening, I will hold an opening reception, with pizza, beer and wine, and soft drinks. At 8 pm, I will hold a lottery to determine the order in which customers may select prints. When your name is drawn, you may select (or decide not to select) any print that has not yet been sold. If you cannot be present for the lottery, you may enter your name in absentia. Just call to let me know your selection, and when your name is drawn, if that print is still available, it will be yours.

If my copy of the print you want is sold before your name is selected, I will make every effort, if you request, to secure a copy from another dealer or from Dorset Fine Arts. I have been successful in recent years in finding additional prints when requests are made the evening of the opening. Prices for these prints may be somewhat higher than for the prints from my set.
